The breeding goal of the Swedish Warmblood horse is a noble, correct, healthy
and durable sport horse, which through its temperament, good movements
and/or jumping ability is internationally competitive in dressage and/or
jumping events.
Riding Horse Quality Tests (RHQT), a one day field test for 4-year old
horses, have taken place in Sweden since 1973. The material from RHQT was
subject to genetic analysis by IHBC. Animal model
multiple trait BLUP indices were computed annually by IHBC 1986 to 2003.
IHBC developed Java servlets in co-operation with SLU. The servlets were used by Swedish Warmblood Association (ASVH) 2004 to 2007.
